Wakeboarding Milestones at Hogan Lake!

We ventured again to Hogan Lake and enjoyed another great day on the water. We started by floating around with Grandma and Grandpa in order to stay cool in the hot summer sun...then the "Daring Duo" of Lexi and Daddy got out on the water and Lexi wakeboarded for the first time! (See video). Later on it was Daddy's turn and he pulled off his first 180. In the afternoon, Wayne and Natalie Tonini came out and got to shred some water with their wakeboards as well. It was an awesome day!!!

Gavin is 9 months already!!

Gavin is getting so big!! We went for his 9 month check up and he is tipping the scales at 22.5 pounds and 29 inches long. He's beginning to learn how to walk in his old mad walker! He runs around the house with it. We will soon need to post a speed limit to slow him down!! We love G man!!

Boating with the Skibo's

On Sunday we FINALLY were able to go boarding behind our boat for the first time!! Happy Father's to Jeff and Chris!!! The weather cooperated...and so did the kids, which helped Jeff and Chris enjoy some great water on the river! Also...Stacey finally dusted off her wake board after an 18 month absence from the water...she still has the moves! Thanks Jenny for getting some great shots of our trip!!

Father's Day BBQ at Jamie and Kevin's home

Another busy weekend for us. On Saturday we packed up and went to Jamie and Kevin's house for a Father's Day BBQ! We played in the pool all day and then ate yummy hamburgers. I think everyone had a nice time! Happy Father's Day to all you Dads!!

Boating with the Steens

Yesterday we took the Steen family out on the boat and had dinner. The kids had a blast! It was a little cold out, but the kids didn't care. How fun it would be to be a kid again!!

One..Two..Three...BLAST OFF

Lexi is so into painting art projects lately, and this week she chose to paint a rocket. She loves Little Einsteins so much, she wanted to paint her rocket just like the red rocket on Little Einsteins. What do you think? So do they look similar??

The Malibu's maiden voyage

We took a trip up to Grandma and Grandpa Lloyd's house in Valley Springs to give the Malibu its first taste of water. What a great day! We had the lake to ourselves, and even the sun came out to warm up things. Lexi and Gavin loved the boat (so did everyone else!) After we were done, Grandma and Grandpa fired up the BBQ and made us delicious hamburgers to fill our tummies after a long day in the sun...we look forward to our next trip to Valley Springs!
