Trip to the State Capitol

On Wednesday we went with playgroup to the State Capitol. It was one of the first trips for the kids to see our State Capitol. Not only was it educational for them, they even were able to see Daddy dressed as Chipper. Here's a few pictures from that day!!

Some Slip and Slid Fun....

Since it's been so hot lately we bought the kids a triple lane slip and slide to cool off with. It sounds like a good idea, however it didn't work that well. We had to pour baby oil all over it just to get the kids to slip down the slide. All in all the kids had a great time and I got some great shots from it!!

TIme for a cut

Last week I took the kids to get their hair cut. Not only was it well over due, but I had a buy one get one free hair cut coupon!! Score!! I took the kids to Jack and Jill Bean's, and the kids loved it. Each station had a different car for them to sit in while they got their locks cut! Lexi picked the firetruck and Gavin picked out the police car just like Daddy's. This was Lexi's second hair cut in her life, and she wanted to cut it to her shoulders. Chris and I were both not on board, so we compromised and told her she could cut half off now and then the other half later. (That's if she still wanted to!!) Here's a few pictures from that day!!

Tea For 3 Please....

Of the kids favorite thing to do with their daddy is to play restaurant!! Today they had a tea party for three!! Chris teaches them to use there manners and take turns! Not only is it fun for them but it's a learning experience as well. Cheers!!

Fun In The Sun

Last week when it reach well over 100 degrees, I decided to have the kids run through the sprinklers in the backyard. They had so much fun getting wet and I had more fun capturing the memories with my new camera! I just love that my new camera can get these action shots without being blurry!!! It's amazing and I am just loving what I captured on this hot day!! Gavin and Alexis both had fun making faces at the camera!! Gavin also enjoyed drinking the water right of the sprinkler.
