Lexi's Slumber Party

On Friday we had a faux slumber party with 13 5 year old girls. They arrived in their pajamas and we started the night off with painting our nails, doing our make-up, making pillows and then having a pillow fight. We ended the night with watching Tangled!! This was by far Lexi's favorite birthday party! She not only dreamed up the idea, but also helped me make much of the decorations for the party!!

5th Birthday Pictures

This year when planning for Lexi's 5th birthday pictures, she asked if she could wear a cowgirl hat. So her and I went shopping for the perfect hat and outfit. Alexis is so into cowgirls and horses right now that we thought it would be fun to do a whole cowgirl photo shoot. When we take pictures at Picture People we usually end up with only one or two good ones and that's it, but this time Lexi was shinning like a star and we ended up with all these amazing pictures of her. The photographer loved them so much, that she had us sign a release form for all the pictures....how exciting!!

Happy Mother's Day Weekend

For Mother's Day Chris and the kids bought me the camera I have always wanted. It was such a wonderful surprise!! I have been wanting this camera ever since Lexi was born!! Now I can get great pictures of the family for everyone to enjoy!!

Kelli and Kaylann came up on Saturday to join us at the strawberry festival. It was fun for the kids to run around and see all things strawberry. They had great food and entertainment for us all!! Here's a few pictures from my new camera!!
