Lexi's Family Portrait

This was Lexi's first drawling of faces with bodies as well as her first family portrait!! We are so proud of her. From left to right is Gavin, Daddy, Lexi and then Mommy. We love you Mooney!! Great job!!!

Super Tubing at Cisco Grove

Today we took the kids to a tube park at Cisco Grove off of Highway 80. We all had so much fun going down this huge hill in a tube that we must of gone down 2 dozen times. Gavin could give or take it, but he didn't cry when we took him down. He had more fun on the lift up the hill and in the snow. All in all we all had a great time and are looking forward to our next trip to the snow before it melts away!!

Whacha looking at??
Yes Chris is growing a mustache!!

Taking a break!!

Check out this hill we all went down!!

So he falls and then cries!! Poor baby!!
This was when we first arrived and Gavin was unsure of how he was going to walk!

Some Carousel Fun

Over the weekend I took the kids to go play at the mall while Chris was at work. After they played in the play area for awhile we walked around the mall without any tantrums, so I thought it would be fun if we all went on the carousel. Both kids love it, and it's the best smiles $5.00 can buy these days!!

My New Camera

For my birthday Chris gave me a new Canon Camera. I have been wanting a new camera for a while now. It truly is the gift that keeps on giving!! Here are a few shots from the first time I used it, right out of the box!!

This one I cropped and edited all on the camera!

What a cute boy!!!

Lexi's Ballet Class

We signed Lexi up for Ballet after the New Year. She had her first class on Saturday morning, and since then she cannot stop talking and dancing! She loves it!! We cannot believe how big she is getting. She really is growing up before our eyes. We are looking forward to her dance residual in June!!

Christmas Morning

It was very mellow at the Garcez home since most of us were sick. We decided to stay home and have a low key Christmas. We first opened all the presents that Santa had left and then moved on to presents from all the Grandma and Grandpas. Once Lexi got her bike, all she wanted to do is ride it. But since it was cold we had her wait till noon to ride it. She loves her bike, and that's all she talks about!! I think Santa got her exactly what she wanted!! Gavin on the other hand was so sick he didn't care on way or another. Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Eve Tradition

Tonight we did our normal tradition of having everyone open one gift, which is always PJ's. This way, we all wake up and open presents in our new jammies. Tomorrow we will be laying low since everyone is sick except for Chris, which I am sure he will get it in time! ' Tis the season!!
Gavin wanted nothing to do with this...poor baby is sick!!
