Visit Daddy at work

Today I took the kids to see Daddy at work. Lexi had fun running around the office and coloring on paper in the briefing room. Gavin was laughing and smiling while we were there. Chris took a picture with him just as he did when Lexi was this age.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was so much fun!! We went into Lexi's room with the video camera to wake her up and let her know that Santa had come. See video at the bottom, it's super cute!!
She loved opening up the gifts as always, but when I gave her a small one she gave it back to me and asked for a big one. Silly girl will eventually understand when she is older; smaller the better.....diamonds are always in small boxes! G-man just sat on the sidelines and watched his big sister be silly!! We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas too!!

the music to hear the video!

Christmas Eve at Auntie Kelli and Uncle Steve's house

Christmas was at Tahoe Circle where Uncle Steve and Auntie Kelli lay their head at night. This year Lexi was totally into opening all the presents, but she missed her sidekick Cole who was in Arkansas with Grandpa Jerry and Grandma Cheri. Lexi loved all her gifts, but was in love with her real digital camera and princess dress-up chest. It was nice to get together with family and enjoy the Holidays. Merry Christmas!!

Gift Exchange with Playgroup

Today we had eleven moms and around 20 kids at the house for a total of 30 people!! Needless to say it was nuts here, but so much fun!! We had all the moms bring a yummy dish to share. We then let the kids do a small gift exchange, which was a hit. They all loved their gifts, and no surprise...they all wanted more!! Here's a few pictures from today! Enjoy!

GLARM's Christmas 2008

We traveled to the Bay Area to hang out with friends and family for our Annual Christmas celebration with the Ramos' (now renamed the G.L.A.R.M.s Christmas). It was great to watch Alexis and Cole open up their Christmas gifts, and as she often does, she thought all of the gifts were hers. After the kids were done, the grown up kids had their turn with the Pirate Bingo ornament exchange (for details please call). The action was slow to begin with, but the hit ornament this year was a red and chrome train from Pottery Barn (do we get royalties for mentioning Pottery Barn on the blog?) We can't wait for next year's celebration, yargh!

Fun with Flour

All morning Lexi and I spent making cookies for the GLARM's (Garcez, Llyod, Abbate, Ramos, McVey and steven) Christmas. She did everything; helped make the dough, rolled the dough, cut out the cookie shape, and decorated them. While rolling the dough, she thought that the flour was sugar. I kept seeing her sneak a lick with the flour...YUCK!!

What a masterpiece!!

Of course she had to eat one!!

She always says, "Yummy in my tummy!!"

Polar Express Train Ride

For Daddy Daughter Date night, Chris took Lexi to Old Sacramento to experience the Polar Express Train Ride. She enjoyed the show inside the train, as well as Santa at the North Pole. She was so excited when Santa came inside, but when he posed to take a photo with her she froze up like the snow outside!!
