As many of you know, Chris and I both owned a Camaro back in the day. Now almost ten years later, we decided to bring back the past....The Black Beauty!! The kids love this car as much as we do. Lexi is always asking to go in the Camaro. Maybe it will be her car one day....yeah right we cannot keep a car that long!!

Gavin's 1st Birthday Party

Over the weekend we celebrated Gavin's first birthday at the house! Not only did our family come, but so many friends from near and far came to help celebrate our baby boys first birthday. All the kids had a great time making their own baseball bats, and diving in for all the candy that dropped from the pinata. Gavin also dove right into his cake, but didn't taste it right away. He liked scrunching it in his hands!! Thank you everyone for traveling the distance, it means so much to us!! Happy First Birthday Baby Gavin!! We love you!!

Gavin's 1st Birthday

Can you believe it, Gavin is already a Year old! We had to wait until Daddy got home from work, but then it was game on...PARTY! Gavin got to open up his gifts from us...and he absolutely loves his new trains and train table. After gifts we headed out to Mikuni Sushi, it's a family favorite! After dinner it was back to the house for CAKE! Unlike his sister, Gavin chose to dive right in with both hands. He couldn't get the cake in his mouth fast enough! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAVIN!!!!

Lexi's First Day of Preschool

On Tuesday Lexi had her first day of Preschool through the Unified! Miss. Deanna, Lexi's teacher, was very welcoming and Lexi took to her very well. She followed her around everywhere, being the teacher's pet!! Wonder how long that will last?? Lexi loved her first day so much, she didn't want to leave!! Our baby is growing up so fast!! We love you Mooney!!

On Sunday the family went over to Derek's house for a BBQ. Lexi had so much fun going down the slide and jumping off the rocks into the pool. She is not afraid of anything these days. We are not sure if that is a good thing or not!! Derek made some yummy food for us all to enjoy!! Thanks Derek for having us over!! We are looking forward the next day at the water park, I mean your backyard!!

Look who's walking

On Friday Chris texted me while I was out to dinner with Denise, to tell me Gavin is now walking. So on Saturday morning after Gavin ate breakfast I stood him on his two feet and grabbed the camera. And this is the first steps I saw him take. I couldn't believe my eyes!! Go baby Gavin!!

I love to lick the bowl

Lexi use to love to help me bake just to help; now she loves to help so she can lick the bowl. Before she would try and sneak a lick here and there, and now she asks to lick the bowl when I am done. I guess that's why every kid loves to help their Mom bake....it's not the help it's the taste test at the end. Well whatever she's after, I still love that she gets excited to help me!!

Summer Time

Jen, Mike, and Summer came up to visit us for a few days while they were on vacation. We did lots of shopping, playing with the kids and also attempted to go to the State Fair while it was 100 degrees outside. All the kids did a great job in the heat, but they didn't mind a bit when we saw all the animals. Lexi just love the baby pigs!! Gavin and Summer's favorite part was when Gavin was pushing Summer in the shopping cart. Hold on girl!!! Thanks Jen, Mike and Summer for coming up to visit us!! We miss you guys already!!
