Happy 20th Anniversary to GiGi and Bobo

My parents are celebrating their 20Th wedding anniversary this month, so Justin and I decided to get our kids pictures taken together for their gift. We thought it would be a great idea, and then after we spent over an hour in the studio, we then said to ourselves, "what were we thinking?" It was hard to get four kids to look and smile at the camera at the same time!! I don't know how large families with kids get a nice family shot!! Just doesn't happen and if it does, I guess it's a miracle!! At the end of the day, it melted Gigi and Bobo's heart! Which is exactly what we wanted!!

Girls Getaway to San Francisco

Over the weekend, a handful of ladies from my Moms Group took a trip to San Francisco. We had so much fun going to a nice dinner and then off to a night club. We all enjoyed our dinner without eating it cold, scarfing it down or not eating at all. It's amazing how food taste when our children are not around. Looking forward to our next trip!! Thanks girls, I had a blast!!

Spider in a jar

Today at playgroup the monthly art craft was making bug jars in the park. Lexi had so much fun making her jar with the assistance of mommy. After making Lexi's jar, she was so excited to go fill it with ladybugs. So we went on a hunt to find her a few ladybugs, but to our surprise all we found was spiders. She was just as excited to have a spider in her jar. We decorated the jar with grass, sticks and a bug for the spider to eat. We wanted the jar to feel just like home for the spider!!

Climbing in the cabinet

Gavin is constantly opening all our cabinets and playing with the things inside. Well yesterday he adventure into the cabinet and thought it was the greatest thing he had achieved!! He was so happy when we found him inside, he had a smile for ear to ear!!

Wiggin Out!!

Today we were cleaning out our closet and came across our wigs from Halloween. We thought it would be fun to put them on our children. Boy was it ever!!! We have not laughed that hard in awhile!! Lexi loved it and would dance around with them on. Gavin on the other hand; as soon as they were in his head, he was busy pulling them off.

Camping 50 deep

This year Natalie wanted to go camping for her 14Th birthday. So the normal people who attends her party, all gathered and went camping for three days. It was so much fun. There were close to fifty people, 10 trailers, 6 boats, and loads of yummy food. Lexi had lots of new friends to play with. She had lots of fun with Ashley and Megan, and by the end of the trip they were best buds. Gavin on the other hand had just on little bud to play with and that was Summer. They had lots of fun pulling on each other while in the porta crib. All in all, I think everyone had a great time. Happy Birthday Nat!!

Nothing to do but act silly

On days we have nothing to do, we find ourselves being silly with the kids. Today Chris was pulling the kids in the laundry basket all through the house. I don't know who got tired first; the kids or Chris??

Soccer Days

Last week Lexi had her first season of soccer. Lexi, Arianna and Mason were all on the same team. It was nice for the kids to see some familiar faces. Coach Jen was so good with all the kids. Just think; 12 3-4 year olds running around trying to kick the ball. Very funny picture to paint!! Lexi loved kicking the ball until they had their first game. Lexi started off with the ball, and then a boy from the other team stole it from her. Instead of getting it back, she started to cry in the middle of the game. It was so cute!!
