Last week we took our last family vacation of the summer to Carlsbad, where we became beach bums. It was such a fun and relaxing vacation. So fun that we flirted with the idea of moving down there, but the kids squashed that idea fast. They said they would miss their friends too much.
The kids learned how to boogie board and they LOVED it!! We also adventured to Belmont Park, which was also tons of fun until Chris and I both got sick from the rides. I guess we are too old for the rides. LOL Well the whole family thinks we should make Carlsbad a yearly vacation, let's see what happens next year.
